For people who want to live and work in Da Lat
Have you ever thought about moving to Da Lat? You want to leave the crowded city, work in cool fresh air, close to nature, and have more time for yourself?
But you are still not sure:
- Do I truly fit with Da Lat?
- Will my online work run smoothly when I live far from the city?
- What will real daily life in the outskirts be like?
- Should I move here for good, or only stay for a while?
- Are the costs, pace of life, weather, and environment suitable long-term?
Instead of deciding in a rush, you can begin with a stretch of real living and working in the outskirts of Da Lat.
Not a trip, but trying a different way of living
This is not a few-day vacation just to take photos, drink coffee, and go home.
At Tam Farm, you get closer to everyday life:
- Mornings, wake up in fresh air, drink tea or coffee, walk around the garden, tend plants or harvest vegetables when it fits.
- During the day, do online work in a quiet area, with space to focus.
- Afternoons, you can garden, talk, read, cook, or learn about local life.
- Evenings are for rest, reviewing the workday, and planning the next phase.
You keep your current work and responsibilities, but place yourself in a completely different environment to observe whether this new way of living truly suits you.
A chance to test before changing your life
Many people love Da Lat when they travel, but living here long-term is a different story.
You need to experience directly:
- climate and weather;
- travel distances;
- internet speed and working conditions;
- the pace of life in the outskirts;
- your ability to adapt to quiet;
- daily life, food, and shopping;
- the balance between work and life;
- your ability to build a new job or project locally.
One week can help you feel the environment. One month helps you understand the rhythm. Two to three months gives you enough time to seriously assess whether Da Lat fits your long-term plan.
Who is this for?
- remote workers;
- freelancers;
- experts and consultants;
- content creators;
- programmers, designers, and people in tech;
- researchers, people writing books or developing projects;
- people who want to move to Da Lat but need to experience it first;
- people looking for a new environment to restructure work and life;
- people who want to live close to nature while keeping up their productivity.
You do not need to quit your current job. You only need to bring your work to a different space and observe how you change.
Living space in the garden
Each Tam Farm location may differ, but must meet core standards: accommodation, a kitchen, living space, a work area, a garden, and verified operating conditions.
Depending on the location and the season, the space may include:
- private or shared work areas;
- living and cooking space;
- a garden to walk in and experience;
- vegetables, fruit, or herbs depending on real conditions;
- opportunities to talk with experts, farms, businesses, or local workers;
- learning, technology, agriculture, and project development activities.
This is not a crowded hotel, not a commercial homestay, and not a fixed-itinerary travel program.
You live at your own pace, but you need to respect the house rules, shared spaces, the operators, the local community, and the responsibilities agreed before joining.
Experience duration
- Minimum: 01 week.
- Usual maximum: 03 months.
- You can register by the week or by the month.
- Each month only 01–03 suitable people are hosted at each location.
Because accommodation and the capacity to accompany people are limited, participants need to register 01–02 weeks in advance to discuss needs, determine fit, and check availability.
Da Lat may not be for everyone
Some people love the quiet. Some find it too slow. Some find new focus and inspiration. Some realize they only fit for short stays.
The important thing is not whether Da Lat is beautiful.
The important thing is whether Da Lat fits the way you want to live and work in the next phase.
You do not need to move right away. Come, live for real, do real work, and find the answer for yourself.
Send a message or reach out on WhatsApp. A schedule is only confirmed after both sides have discussed needs, timing, fit, and accommodation availability.
