A common question: where is Tam Farms? The short answer — Tam Farms is not a location, but a chain model that can be scaled.
Many people encountering Tam Farms for the first time ask: "Where is Tam Farms? What is the address?" The most important answer to understand from the start: Tam Farms is not a single lodging venue. Tam Farms is a chain model — a set of methods, standards, and systems that can be applied across multiple locations.
What does Tam Farms own?
As a chain model, Tam Farms owns and manages the following elements:
- Methodology — how experience journeys are designed, how accompaniment works, how outcomes are evaluated.
- Location standard — the conditions a location must meet to be called Tam Farms certified (TAMFARMS_LOCATION_STANDARD).
- Expert standard — the conditions a person must meet to be recognized as an expert within the system.
- Program standard — how a program is designed, certified, and approved for publication.
- Licensing and replication system — the process for a new location to join the network.
- Revenue model — how costs are allocated across location, program, and expert.
What does Tam Farms not own?
- Does not own a specific address — the address belongs to each member location.
- Does not own fire safety licenses (PCCC) — this is the legal responsibility of each location.
- Does not own physical lodging facilities — the space belongs to the location owner.
- Does not directly provide lodging services — services are provided by member locations according to standards.
Why multiple locations?
A chain model only has value when it can be scaled. Each certified location delivers a consistent experience in terms of methodology, while retaining its own distinct character in space and context. Participants can choose the location that fits their needs while still trusting the quality of the program.
The role of the founder
Trần Hà Tâm is the founder of Tam Farms — defining the methodology, building the standards, and validating the model through the first reference location. The founder's role is to maintain the consistency of the model as it expands, not to operate each location.
Current status: MODEL DEFINED, not yet MODEL CERTIFIED
As of now, the Tam Farms model is in the MODEL DEFINED state — clearly defined in terms of methodology, standards, and systems. The MODEL CERTIFIED state — where the model has been fully validated through multiple locations and independent assessment cycles — has not yet been reached. We state this clearly so participants understand the true maturity level of the model.
Tam Farms is a model that can be scaled. Each certified location is proof of the model — the model does not depend on a single location.
